In this follow up to Hotel For Dogs, dog lover and preteen budding entrepreneur, Bruce Walker, starts the Bow Wow news with his sister and neighborhood friends. They start small and expand quickly as it seems everyone in town is interested in doggie gossip, pet recipes and health tips.
As the newspaper money pours in, the friends agree that Bruce’s bill for his adopted Irish Setter, Red Rover, will be the first charge paid. Intrigue, eccentricities, bullies, dog napping and clueless parents are just the beginning of a fast paced crime spree the friends solve by using their sleuthing and investigative reporting skills. News For Dogs is a fun read for pet lovers and makes me wish all this adventure was around when I was a kid.
