This work is a fictionalized version of Frank Lloyd Wright’s illicit affair with Mamah Borthwick, which had a horrifyingly tragic ending. This has been one of the top books read by book clubs in the past few years. This is no surprise as there is a lot to discuss, including the social norms of the time. A slow paced book with detailed descriptions of the times and places, which made up these two people’s lives.
