The story is set in the days of the westward expansion. Two brothers, (Sacketts of course) reluctantly agree to escort a young lady west, at her grandfather’s request. Naturally, the young lady has other ideas. Black Fetchen has proposed marriage, and she plans to accept. However, she doesn’t know the true nature of the man she plans to marry. This fast paced adventure is full of action as well as a hint of mystery and romance.
