Adelaide Pyne, a social reformer comes to the attention of Griffin Winters, the head of the Consortium, the local crime syndicate.
She has the ability to read dreamlight energy and patterns, and Griffin believes she is the key to saving him from the “Winters curse.” Griffin believes he has come into his second talent, and he will soon go mad. He does not realize that she has the “Burning Lamp” in her possession, and she will be the key to not only saving his sanity but ultimately his life and heart.
