Colleen Reece wrote a series based in a setting of a Christian based Hospital totally funded by donations. The story line surrounded several nurses who also lived in the hospital facilities. That is till each one falls in LOVE and gets married and I am currently on the last book titled ‘Hearth of Fire’ that will reveal the last nurse in the group. She is the one who usually has a different ‘beau’ every few months, yet she hadn’t found her ONE and ONLY yet. We shall see won’t we?
The series is a very clean read, which is sought mostly by the older reader’s but welcome in the Christian circle as well. The only drawback I found in the story, was that I thought the Hospital was a little ‘too good’ to be true. I didn’t think it was quite realistic enough. Sure, we all want the perfect Caregiver, the perfect Love life, the perfect this and the perfect that, but that will not happen on this side of Heaven now will it?
