Dead Town is part of the Gunsmith series. It’s the story of Clint Adams, a cowboy who winds up in the town of Jasper, Kansas. He finds the town deserted until he stumbles upon one lady. She tells him about the town’s past and how it became deserted. He learns about a man who was killed for a crime he didn’t commit, which resulted in the man’s family destroying the town to avenge his death. The action really unfolds when the family comes back to wreak havoc on the town again.
The book was filled with action, some mystery, and a touch a romance. It was fast paced and an easy read.
