Think you have discovered all the cool apps on your iPad or iPhone? Think again! First Regional Library has recently started providing access to the language software, Rosetta Stone. The smart people at Rosetta Stone have an awesome app that lets you learn your new language on your iPad or iPhone. No cumbersome headphones or microphones needed, everything is on your device. Of course, you can also access Rosetta Stone from your home computer.
Soon you’ll be saying Konnichiwa (Hello) in whatever language you choose and the program will let you know if you pronounced it correctly. Learn using games, native speaking tutors, and other activities. First Regional Library has a limited number of seats available to students at one time, so unfortunately some waiting may be necessary.
If you’re interested in learning a new language check out the information page at: http://www.firstregional.org/rosettastonepage.html or email your name, library card number, PIN, and the language you wish to learn to rosettastone@firstregional.org
