Cross thinking back to the day his wife was murdered. It also focuses on a serial killer who has raped and murdered several women. When Cross realizes he has had enough of tracking down killers, he finally decides to leave the FBI to focus on his family. He is soon drawn back in when he learns the murders could lead him to his wife’s killer.
