Nora Roberts' book, Black Hills, is an excellent "thriller" read. Yes, there is a romance woven into the story, yet, the majority of the storyline is based on a serial killer on the loose in the badlands of the Dakota's. The story takes place in several sections, different times, and how the killer affects the people and the sanctuary that evolves.I would highly recommend it, if you like suspenseful novels.
