Paper Towns, by John Green

The Masks we Wear

Paper Towns, by John Green

Quentin (known as Q) Jacobsen lives next door to Margo Roth Spiegelman. They were playmates as children. They are now in their senior year looking forward to graduation day. Q has loved Margo from afar since they grew apart.

Margo is outgoing , adventurous, and rebellious while Q is the good, smart son, or as termed by his peers, a nerd. He has two friends Ben and Radar. Ben is obsessed with Honeybunnies (girls) but can’t get one and Radar is embarrassed for people to come to his home because his parents collect black Santas and display them all year.

A few weeks before graduation Margo comes climbing in Q’s bedroom window. Surprise! She needs a wingman and Q’s it. After a night of wild adventures with his beloved, Q finds out that Margo is gone. Everyone (even her parents and the police) believe Margo has run away but Q thinks its worse. He sets out to uncover the clues Margo has left for him. Will he find her before its too late?
